WEBSITES  Founded by Reverend Frank and Mary Hoffman. Dedicated to cruelty-free living through a vegan lifestyle according to Judeo-Christian Ethics. Animal Outlook is a national nonprofit animal advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C. Its mission is to change the world for animals, deploying an arsenal of strategies to challenge the status quo of animal agribusiness, revolutionize food systems and empower others to stand up for justice for animals. Web site for the film directed by Thomas Jackson that asks the questions: “Can compassion grow to include all beings? Can people who identify as religious or spiritual come to embrace the call to include all human and nonhuman beings in our circle of respect and love?” CreatureKind’s mission is to encourage Christians to recognize faith-based reasons for caring about the wellbeing of fellow animal creatures, and to take practical actions in response. Black Vegfest was founded by Omowale Adewale, an international speaker on Veganism to address intersectionality, cultural influences in our cuisine and the socio-economic and political issues that influence our lives as we advocate for “just living” for animals.


Charlotte's WebBeginners’ Guide to Cruelty-Free and Vegan Skin Care, contributed by Amelia and friends in her animal rights and advocacy project sponsored and supported by Chloe Pederson. Sponsored by the Reverend Frank and Mary Hoffman Family Foundation. An international, non-denominational ministry dedicated to serving God by avoiding the animal cruelty, environmental damage and human misery associated with animal-based food systems. Founded by Sailesh Rao to address issues related to the economy, environment, politics, governance and spirituality. Committed to both practicing the teachings of the Buddha and speaking out against animal suffering and for animals who have no voice to speak for themselves.  Found by Reverend Fletcher Harper and focused on building a worldwide, multi-faith climate and environmental movement.

A Guide to Cruelty Free Beauty Shopping: Dakota Taylor, one of our Compassion Consortium kindred spirits, has shared this comprehensive guide on cruelty free makeup and animal testing and including related resources to animal welfare Hip Hop is Green is the first plant-based Hip Hop health and wellness organization in the world, supporting holistic health and the transformation of urban communities. It provides life-changing programs for underserved, low-income urban youth and their families in areas of health and wellness through creative media and live events. The Web site for the Interfaith Vegan Coalition sponsored by In Defense of Animals. Founded by Lisa Levinson, Judy Carman and Thomas Jackson. Its purpose is to help activists and spiritual leaders bring vegan values to their faith and ethical communities. An excellent resource for information and links to other Vegan spiritual organizations. Its Vegan Advocacy kits, available for many different religions, are a particularly valuable source of information regarding veganism and compassion for animals for each of these religions. Dedicated to helping the Jain community transition toward a low-himsa Vegan lifestyle. organization to inspire and assist Jews to embrace plan- based diets as an expression of Jewish values.
